At KEIG, we understand the critical importance of digital literacy in today's world. Our Computer Literacy Project (CLP) is designed to equip vulnerable adolescent girls with essential computer skills, enabling them to thrive and compete safely in the digital age.
Training and Skill Development
We offer comprehensive training in basic computer literacy, covering fundamental skills such as word processing, spreadsheet management, and internet navigation. Our curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of our participants, ensuring that they gain practical knowledge that can be applied in both personal and professional settings.
Cybersecurity Education
In addition to basic computer skills, we place a strong emphasis on cybersecurity. Our program includes education on how to protect oneself from digital threats, such as cyberbullying, identity theft, and other forms of online abuse. We teach the girls how to navigate the internet safely, understand privacy settings, and recognize suspicious activities to safeguard their personal information.

Project Information
Community IT Resource Center
Our vision includes the establishment of a community Information and Technology (IT) resource center. This center will provide ongoing access to computers and the internet for the girls, ensuring they can continue to build their skills and explore digital opportunities. The IT resource center will also serve as an income generator for the project, contributing to its sustainability.
Empowerment through Technology
By empowering girls with computer literacy, we open doors to numerous opportunities in education, employment, and entrepreneurship. These skills are crucial for academic success and provide a foundation for careers in various fields. Our goal is to ensure that every girl in our program is digitally literate and can confidently use technology to enhance her life.
