At KEIG, our Comprehensive Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Project is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of vulnerable girls and teen mothers. We believe that access to accurate information and essential services is crucial for their empowerment and development.
Sexual and Reproductive Health Education
We provide comprehensive SRH education that covers a wide range of topics, including puberty, menstruation, contraception, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and pregnancy. Our workshops are designed to equip girls with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their bodies and their health. By addressing these topics openly and honestly, we aim to dispel myths and break down the stigma surrounding sexual and reproductive health.
Access to Health Services
Our project ensures that girls have access to essential health services, including regular health check-ups, family planning, and STI testing and treatment. We work closely with healthcare providers to offer confidential and youth-friendly services that cater to the unique needs of adolescent girls and teen mothers. This access to healthcare is vital for preventing and managing health issues, ensuring that girls can lead healthy and fulfilling lives.
Empowerment through Information
Empowering girls with accurate information about their sexual and reproductive health is at the core of our project. We provide resources and materials that girls can use to educate themselves and their peers. By fostering an environment where girls feel confident and informed, we empower them to take control of their health and make safe, responsible choices.
